A look back at the Pincourt Firefighters' Day Parade
Under clear, sunny skies, the traditional parade of fire and emergency vehicles took place at noon on Saturday, August 12, as part of the 41st Pincourt Firefighters' Day. Young and old alike lined the route to make sure they didn't miss out on this popular annual event.
Soap box race: registration underway for ages 7 to 12
The 13th edition of the Vaudreuil-Dorion Optimist Club's soapbox race will be held on Saturday, September 9. Registration is underway for intrepid youngsters aged 7 to 12 interested in this fun activity.
A second novel in four months for author Érik Leduc
On May 3, Vaudreuil-Dorion resident Érik Leduc announced the release of his first career novel, Entre le lys et le lion. Almost four months later, on August 30, he will publish the sequel to the adventures of Akian, the young Abenaki he imagined in the days of New France in 1689.
8th annual Bryan Liew Race set for September 10 in St-Lazare
It's time to register for the 8th annual Bryan Liew Race, a highlight of the local running calendar. Once again, the event will be held on the second Sunday of September, starting and finishing from the Westwood Park.
