On Tuesday August 15, performer Kim Richardson, renowned for her powerful, bewitching voice, presented an intimate show at Vaudreuil-Dorion's Maison-Valois park as part of the Les rythmes d'été series of shows.
On its social networks, the day after the artist's performance, here's how the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion described it:
What a performance yesterday by Kim Richardson, this grande dame of song! And what a voice! She set the Parc de la Maison-Valois ablaze, singing the greatest hits of 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑙 and 𝑟ℎ𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑚 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑙𝑢𝑒𝑠, while getting the audience dancing.
The Agora in the Parc de la Maison-Valois allows the performers who perform there to present intimate shows, despite the presence of dozens of spectators.
The 2023 edition of the Les rythmes d'été series welcomed Luce Dufault, Brian Tyler, Véronique Labbé, Ludovick Bourgeois and the group De Temps Antan.
Next week, as part of MOSA, la Fête des mots, former academician Martin Giroux will present his tribute to Richard Desjardins.
