On Saturday August 12, swimmers from the Club aquatique de la Ville de L'Île-Perrot took part in the Section A final, live from the Westmount pool. A total of 43 CAVIP members put on their swimsuits for the competition.

The local club finished 7th in Section A and will start the 2024 season in Section B.

Of the 43 swimmers present, around twenty will take part in the ALPS Grand Final scheduled for Saturday August 19 at the Baie D'Urfé pool. To qualify, swimmers taking part in the A section finals had to place between 1st and 18th in the individual events (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly).

All relay swimmers placing between 1st and 12th in the A section finals will also be in the ALPS Grand Final.

As the coaches of the 21 clubs represented at the Section A finals must validate the presence of their swimmers, it is possible that more CAVIP representatives will be able to take part in the Grand Final in a few days' time. For example, withdrawals may occur, leaving some places free.

CAVIP coaches will be in touch with those qualified by Friday, the club informs.
