A great spirit of camaraderie at the 17th edition of Tires de tracteurs antiques
On Saturday, September 2, antique tractor pull enthusiasts gathered at Coteau-du-Lac's Agro-Parc Pont-Château for the 17th edition of this annual competition. Once again this year, many spectators turned out to admire the prowess of the seasoned drivers who took to the dirt track.
The 2023 edition of VIP en Blues is less than two weeks away
A line-up of artists will take to the stage at Parc des Générations on boulevard Perrot in L'Île-Perrot for the VIP en Blues festival on Saturday, September 16.
Five Vaudreuil-Soulanges artists featured in Nature insoumise exhibition
The group exhibition Nature insoumise, which opened on August 31 and runs until September 24, brings together 10 artists with very different disciplines and artistic backgrounds. The works of the participating artists, many of them from Vaudreuil-Soulanges, can be admired at the "Coups de pinceaux, coups de ciseaux" gallery, located at 4603, boulevard Saint-Laurent.

On August 27, the traditional TD Summer Reading Club of Vaudreuil-Dorion party at Le 405 park brought together 450 library users. In addition to participation draws, grand prizes were awarded at the closing party to Honael Polidor and Jules Brinjean (La Ribouldingue game set and gift certificate) and Joannie Bélanger and Samuel Giasson (Nintendo Switch).

The Town of Pincourt recently inaugurated the first project in its Program for the Integration of Mural Arts into the Urban Landscape (PIA), Jeu dans l'océa, in the company of Town Council members, PIA Committee volunteers, municipal employees and Montreal artist Jean Pronovost.

The MNA for Vaudreuil, Marie-Claude Nichols, is inviting the region's population to sign a petition calling on the CAQ government to honor its commitment to build a multi-level parking garage on the site of the future Vaudreuil-Soulanges hospital, rather than a 5.7-hectare surface parking lot, which will have major environmental impacts.

The administration of the City of Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac will be called in front of the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec after requesting authorization to no longer have to consider requests filed by two citizens.

The Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CJEVS), in partnership with Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, successfully concluded its innovative program.
Coteau-du-Lac wants to lower the speed limit in two areas of its territory
At their regular meeting on August 8, the elected officials of Coteau-du-Lac ratified a resolution to reduce the speed limit on Route 201, and tabled a notice of motion to do the same on Chemin Rivière-Delisle South and North.
