Another busy week draws to a close. Here's what's been in the news in Vaudreuil-Soulanges over the past few days.  

The UPA de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is delighted that the Saint-Télesphore site is no longer considered

The Syndicat de l'UPA de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is delighted with the MRC's decision to abandon the purchase of the land planned for the regional composting platform project in Saint-Télesphore. 

Line Roussin has five priorities for Coteau-du-Lac

Following the resignation of Coteau-du-Lac District 3 Élzéar-Deguire Councillor David Lee Amos earlier in 2023, five candidates entered the race to fill the vacant seat. Among them is 29-year district resident Line Roussin, who is entering the race.

New changes to the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion’s aquatic programming

Starting from the winter session, which will take place from January 8th to March 22nd, 2024, users of the pool located on the Cité-des-Jeunes campus will notice changes to the aquatic programming. With the hiring of new instructors, the number of courses offered has increased and two new courses for beginners have been added.

New configuration on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge this weekend

Due to the snowfall predicted for this weekend, the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) will be reconfiguring the traffic lanes on the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge.

Desjardins closes its Saint-Polycarpe branch for good

Out of service since August 28, the Desjardins ATM in Saint-Polycarpe will not be reopened. The equipment will be removed as of December 8.
