Collège Bourget is proud to announce the appointment of Jean-Gabriel Poulin as head of football for the Voltigeurs program. After three years as a full-time player at the Collège, Mr. Poulin succeeds to Yannick Morin-Plante, who is leaving to take up new challenges.

In the aftermath of the fire that caused extensive damage to St. James Anglican Church in Hudson, Fire Department Director Daniel Leblanc confirms that the blaze was not of criminal origin, but that an electrical problem is a plausible cause.

For most people in the region, last Thursday was just another rainy, gray evening. For a little more than twenty young art-study students from Cité-des-Jeunes, it was a happy, sunny premiere: with the launch of their official exhibition at Vaudreuil-Soulanges' most renowned museum. Néomédia attended the opening of Mettre les mains à la pâte at the Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges. The exhibition runs until May 15.
Pincourt begins construction of basketball courts
The Town of Pincourt kicked off work this Tuesday on two new basketball courts at Olympic Park. No official opening date has yet been announced.
Saint-Lazare: Alexandre's heartbreaking account of testicular cancer
April is cancer prevention month and testicular cancer awareness month. According to the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), every 11 minutes in Quebec, someone is diagnosed with cancer, and every 26 minutes, someone dies from it. Alexandre Nobert, from Saint-Lazare, added to these statistics in October 2009, when he was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer of the left testicle at the age of 18.
