CACVS: Call for cultural and digital innovation projects 2024
The Conseil des arts et de la culture de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CACVS) is launching a call for projects for the Programme d'innovation culturelle et numérique (PICN) 2024. This program aims to facilitate the emergence of innovative cultural projects in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRC. The deadline for applications is April 14.
No return to municipal office for Marie-Claude Nichols
Despite her deep attachment to the municipal world, Vaudreuil MNA Marie-Claude Nichols has no plans, for the time being at least, to run for mayor of Vaudreuil-Dorion in the next municipal election.

Three cheerleading teams from Vaudreuil-Soulanges recently distinguished themselves on February 10 and 11 at the Universal Cheerleaders Association's U.S. High School National Championship, held at Disney World's ESPN Wide World Sports in Orlando, Florida.
Aléo Foundation rewards four local athletes
Four local athletes have been rewarded by the Fondation Aléo as part of the Accès Nouvelle Génération program. Alison Douhou and Mia Douhou, from Coteau-du-Lac, Sasha Jouthe Klang, from Les Coteaux, and Tudor Glaveanu, from Pincourt, have become lifetime members of the Aléo family.

Due to the fire that broke out earlier this Tuesday morning, the management of Walmart Vaudreuil-Dorion has announced the indefinite closure of the store. The chain made the announcement on its social networks in the last few hours.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is advising the Quebec public of a product recall by Taylor Farms. The product is Mexican Street Corn Chopped Salad, distributed in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritime provinces.
An evening of remembrance for the victims of the Vaudreuil-Dorion tragedy
Following the tragedy that occurred in a Vaudreuil-Dorion condo building on Thursday, February 15, Plan A, owner of the Vela complex, held a commemorative evening in memory of the victims. The solemn event took place in the common room of 1650 rue Émile Bouchard, this Tuesday, February 20, from 6 to 10 pm.
Walmart fire: Luciano Minisini Burke remains in custody
Luciano Minisini Burke, 18, accused of causing a fire at the Vaudreuil-Dorion Walmart last Tuesday, will undergo a psychological evaluation at the Pinel Institute and remain in custody pending trial. The evaluation will determine whether or not he is fit to stand trial.
Fabio Puglisi deemed unfit to stand trial for the time being
Psychiatrist Myriam Leblanc of the Institut national de psychiatrie légale Philippe-Pinel has assessed that Fabio Puglisi, 44, accused of the tragedy in Vaudreuil-Dorion on February 15, is unfit to stand trial. This was confirmed at the suspect's second appearance at the Valleyfield courthouse on Thursday, February 22.
A house is completely destroyed by flames in Les Cèdres
A family home on chemin Saint-Grégoire in Les Cèdres was completely engulfed in flames after a fire broke out in the garage adjacent to the house at around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday.
Exo to hold public meeting in Vaudreuil-Dorion

Once again, Gymini athletes stood out from the crowd at the second Coupe Québec, held in Repentigny on February 16, 17 and 18. Throughout the competition, gymnasts from N4 to N6 competed to achieve outstanding results.
