Over the past hour, two vehicles have gone off the road in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. Fortunately, neither incident resulted in serious injury to the motorists involved.

The first accident occurred on Route 201, on the westbound on-ramp to Highway 20. According to our information, a woman alone in her vehicle lost control while attempting to access the ramp. She ended up in the ditch linking the two ramps, the one to the Monseigneur-Langlois bridge and Highway 20.

The lady suffered no injuries, but was in a state of shock when Coteau-du-Lac/Les Coteaux firefighters arrived on the scene following the incident.

A second road accident in Sainte-Marthe

A few kilometers away, a man was also involved in a road accident while driving on Chemin Sainte-Julie, in Sainte-Marthe.

Paramedics attended to the driver within minutes of the accident. There were no life-threatening injuries. The cause of the accident is unknown.

The Sainte-Marthe fire department also attended the scene to assist the victim.
