Six local community organizations in Vaudreuil-Soulanges will benefit from financial support from Centraide Sud-Ouest du Québec, as part of the Government of Canada's Community Services Revitalization Fund. A total of $381,109 will be redistributed among the organizations.

The Community Services Recovery Fund is a one-time investment of $400 million by the Government of Canada to help community organizations adapt, modernize and become better equipped to improve the effectiveness, accessibility and sustainability of the services they provide during the pandemic recovery and beyond.

"The projects funded through the Government of Canada's Community Services Recovery Fund demonstrate that we are a caring and supportive society, committed to the well-being of all. It's heartening to see our citizens demonstrating empathy and compassion by coming to the aid of those in need. Projects like these testify to the power of our collective action and our ability to unite to contribute to the well-being of the world. I'm convinced that together, we can greatly improve the lives of people in southwestern Quebec," says Jenna Sudds, federal Minister of Family, Children and Social Development.
