May 16 at Summerlea Golf Club
A fundraising lobster dinner for the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges
In conjunction with the launch of its socio-financing campaign, the Maison de la Famille Vaudreuil-Soulanges (MFVS) has kicked off its first lobster benefit dinner, to be held on May 16 at the Summerlea Golf Club.
This fundraising dinner marks a significant step towards realizing the organization's aspirations of actively involving citizens and local partners in its fundraising efforts.
As in the past, MFVS can count on the support of Caisse Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges. As official partner of the benefit dinner, the organization will contribute $10,000.
"In a region where the population is growing because of Vaudreuil-Soulanges' hospital qualities, its accessibility and its safety, Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges has a duty to be even closer to the organizations that provide support for the quality of well-being of its population," said François Paquin, 2nd Vice-President of the Board of Directors and President of the Caisse's Cooperation Committee.
Honorary president of the socio-financing campaign, Claude DeBellefeuille, Member of Parliament for Salaberry-Suroît, took the opportunity to invite the region's business community, as well as local residents, to take part in the event.
"The dinner is an opportunity for business people to have a good time with their team members, while supporting a cause that is beautiful, and great, and will make a difference to families in the region. Why not combine business with pleasure? I'm hoping for a full house.A number of business people have already confirmed their attendance, but there are still tickets available."
Tickets for the first edition of the Maison de la Famille de Vaudreuil-Soulanges lobster benefit dinner will be on sale for $200. It will also be possible to purchase tables for groups.
Full details will be announced shortly.
