Héma-Québec will be visiting the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region a few times over the next few weeks to hold blood drives. Those interested in taking part can already make an appointment to donate. 

Here are the upcoming blood drives: 

Saint-Lazare: 

Date: Monday, March 11, 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m; 

Location: Chez Maurice en spectacle (1897 chemin Sainte-Angélique); 

Donation target: 175; 

Terrasse-Vaudreuil: 

Date: Wednesday, March 13, 1:30 pm to 7 pm; 

Location: Terrasse-Vaudreuil Community Center (78 7th Avenue); 

Goal: 50 donations;

Rigaud: 

Date: Thursday, max. 14, 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm; 

Location: Édifice Paul-Brasseur (10 rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste Est); 

Goal: 70 donations;

We recommend that you make an appointment to donate blood. However, if you are passing by a blood drive and are available to donate, don't hesitate to check with the team on site to see if they can accommodate you.

Before giving blood

In the hours leading up to your blood donation, we recommend that you drink a minimum of 500 ml of water or juice and eat well, avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate blood collection, wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up above the elbow.

You must also have your donor card or proof of identity with you.
