Another busy week draws to a close. Here's what's been happening in Vaudreuil-Soulanges over the past few days.    

Ville de L'Île-Perrot : define your municipal cultural policy on October 28

On October 28, residents of L'Île-Perrot are invited to take part in a workshop to identify their cultural needs and help shape the Ville's cultural policy! The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Guy-Godin library.

At the Musée régional : celebrating the 13 albums of the Cyprienne muse

The Musée régional de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is bidding a well-deserved farewell to one of its most famous ambassadors, the mouse Cyprienne, with the exhibition Johanne Mitchell - Cyprienne en rétrospective. The Museum is also taking this opportunity to pay tribute to author Chantal Séguin and illustrator Johanne Mitchell who, like Cyprienne, are taking or have already taken well-deserved retirement.

School elections: Perrotdamois to go to the polls soon

The citizens of Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot will be called to the polls on Sunday, October 27, as part of the Lester B. Pearson School Board's school elections. Pearson School Board. Two candidates, Michael Papoulias and Maureen Baron, are running for the seat of representative for this territory. 

2nd edition of the Altius Challenge raises $11,000 for the Paul-Leboeuf Foundation

For the second year running, the team at the Altius Physio physiotherapy clinic invited the public to take part in the Altius Physio Challenge in aid of the Paul-Leboeuf Foundation. The event was held at the Centre de la nature Quatre-Saisons in Coteau-du-Lac on Saturday, October 19, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. 

Les Cèdres celebrates the 40th anniversary of its big canoe

On Friday, October 18, the Municipality of Les Cèdres gathered dozens of guests at the municipal wharf on chemin du Fleuve. The objective? To celebrate the 40th anniversary of a local landmark: the Grand Canot, a 45-foot boat built in the village core in 1984. 

Marker X now available on RAMQ card

Since October 10, the gender X marker can be affixed to health insurance cards (CAM) by those who request it, according to the same rules already in force with civil status.

Vaudreuil-Dorion's municipal hub is taking shape

Vaudreuil-Dorion's future municipal hub, which will bring together the library, a public square, exhibition halls and the town hall, is taking more and more shape in the rue Émile-Bouchard area. Work is progressing apace, transforming the site into a welcoming green space.

Yan Lecompte returns to court on November 25

Awarding of a mandate for a photogrammetric analysis of the Delisle River

On Monday, October 21, at the regular meeting of the municipal council, the elected officials of the Municipalité des Coteaux ratified a resolution to award a contract for a photogrammetric analysis of the Rivière Delisle. A sum of $9,500 plus taxes will be awarded to the firm JFSA to carry out this mandate. 

Municipalité des Coteaux buys property on rue Doucet

The Municipalité des Coteaux is now the owner of the residence located at 21 rue Doucet, which it acquired for the sum of $219,900. This was announced at the regular meeting of the municipal council held on Monday, October 21.

They are among the 458 doctors added to Quebec, distributed to better meet the needs of patients.
