Canadian BMX Championship: a more than positive assessment for the organizing committee

This weekend, 649 BMX riders, aged between 3 and 50, gathered at the Coteau-du-Lac track for the Canadian Championships. For the very first time, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges BMX club hosted this major competition, which saw four of its members climb to the top of the podium.

An investment of $3.4M for the redevelopment of Lakeview Street in Hudson

Eclectic line-up for the 18th Hudson Music Festival

Nearly $500,000 to renovate Saint-Zotique Town Hall

More than a year after the April 2023 ice storm that caused major damage to the basement of Saint-Zotique Town Hall, the municipal council on Tuesday, July 9 awarded the contract to renovate the building to Les Constructions GMP inc. for a maximum of $500,000, taxes included. 

Work on 23rd Avenue in Saint-Zotique will cost more than expected

Repairs to the storm drainage system on 23rd Avenue in Saint-Zotique will end up costing the Town more than expected. This was confirmed at the regular meeting held on Tuesday, July 9, when elected officials ratified a borrowing by-law for $3,272,000. 

Gabrielle Larouche: an art enthusiast not afraid to step outside her comfort zone

A new director for Coteau-du-Lac's fire department

On Tuesday, July 9, the Coteau-du-Lac municipal council ratified the appointment of a new director for the Fire Department. He is Patrick Laberge, who began his career with the local brigade in February 2007. 

The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion faces a second refusal from the provincial government  

The City of Vaudreuil-Dorion was recently notified by the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec that its request for financial support for its project to build an aquatic complex submitted as part of the call for projects under the Programme d'aide financière aux infrastructures récréatives, sportives et de plein air - volet 1 (PAFIRSPA) was not accepted.

Vaudreuil-Soulanges MRC recognized for its environmental proactivity

The MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is proud to announce that it was awarded ICI on recycle + "Performance" certification on June 12! The achievement of this level is the fruit of efforts made by MRC employees to reduce their environmental impact in the workplace.

Coteau-du-Lac election coming up
