Two young athletes from Les Coteaux shine outside Vaudreuil-Soulanges

Two young athletes from the Municipalité des Coteaux have recently made their mark on the international scene. Sandy Godmer, 18, finished first at the USA 2024 World Flag Football Championship, and Sasha Jouthe Klang recently won a $1,500 bursary. 

Sandy Godmer, 18, topped the podium at the Flag Football World Championship USA 2024 in Tampa Bay, Florida, with her team Les Nomades de Montmorency in the competitive women's 5-on-5 category, and was named MVP Offense. She also represented the Cégep de Valleyfield Noir et Or at the NFL Flag USA 2024 Championship on February 3 in Orlando, Florida.

For her part, Sasha Jouthe Klang was selected to receive a $1,500 bursary from the Fondation Aléo's Accès Nouvelle Génération program, supporting her athletic and academic career.
