Me Zoë Lafrance joins the staff of the Town of Vaudreuil-Dorion
The municipal council of the Town of Vaudreuil-Dorion is pleased to announce the appointment of Me Zoë Lafrance to the position of Clerk and Director of the Clerk's Office and Legal Affairs.

Ms. Lafrance, who previously held the position of Director of Legal Affairs and Town Clerk with the Town of L'Île-Perrot, will take up her new duties on March 5. Trained as a lawyer and member of the Bar, she has been working in the municipal sector since 2018. In parallel with her career, she is completing a master's degree in public administration, managerial profile at the École nationale d'administration publique.

We welcome her and look forward to benefiting from her expertise for all the major projects that lie ahead," said Mélissa Côté, Assistant General Manager and Acting Town Clerk following the retirement of Jean St-Antoine last December.
Me Lafrance will head a team of six employees. The Service du greffe et des affaires juridiques provides the administrative and legal support required to hold and follow up on municipal council meetings. It is responsible for the by-law adoption process and for opening tenders. It publishes public notices as required by law.Receives and manages claims against the Town and handles requests for access to information.He is the custodian of all the Town's archives and proceeds with the sale of buildings with unpaid taxes. Finally, the Town Clerk acts as president during municipal elections and referendums.
