A 19-year-old man was arrested shortly before 5 a.m. on Monday, following a short chase on Highway 40 West.
River protection continues for another year at the Haut Saint-Laurent ZIP Committee
The Haut Saint-Laurent ZIP Committee (HSL ZIP Committee) has received $130,500 in funding from the St. Lawrence Action Fund (SLASF), via its St. Lawrence Marine Biodiversity Program (SMBP) and thanks to the financial support of the Quebec government under Advantage St. Lawrence, the provincial maritime vision. This investment will enable five (5) projects to be carried out over the course of 2023-2024.
Le Sapin du Petit Bonheur retires after 16 years
The Sapin du Petit Bonheur organizing committee has decided to retire after 16 years, due to a lack of new talent. The event was launched in 2007 by students in the management course at CÉGEP de Valleyfield, before becoming a non-profit organization in 2011.
