Expressive, realistic portraits
Nathalie Dubois exhibits in June at the Saint-Lazare library
The Saint-Lazare Library is proud to present the works of artist Nathalie Dubois for its June exhibition. Originally from France, Nathalie Dubois began drawing at an early age. Her art teachers encouraged her in this direction. At the age of 15, she entered the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art in Paris, France.
After nearly 35 years in Quebec, her experience in the visual arts has become increasingly active over the last ten years. She participates in a number of exhibitions and has permanent gallery shows in Montreal.
As a professional artist, her approach explores human beings and sometimes animals through realistic, expressive portraits. She likes to awaken in the viewer a reflection of emotions, through contemporary art.
The activity is open to the whole family, residents and non-residents alike. An Accès Saint-Lazare card is not required. The exhibition runs until Friday June 28.
Admission is free. For information, call 450-424-8000, ext. 260 or e-mail [email protected].
The Saint-Lazare municipal library is located at 1275, rue du Bois.
