On Wednesday, August 9, the Club aquatique de la Ville de l'Île Perrot organized a major swimming competition at the Complexe aquatique Île Perrot. For this event, CAVIP welcomed the biggest team in ALPS.

Under an unforgettable sunset, a total of nearly 300 people, including swimmers, volunteers, spectators and parents, attended the event. CAVIP had 73 swimmers registered for the event, ranging in age from 4 to 24.

The visiting club, Beaurepaire (BEAU), had 82 swimmers registered. Some 50 volunteers (CAVIP and BEAU) were on hand to make the event happen. By 4pm, the volunteers were setting up. Warm-up for the 2 teams began at 6:30pm, and the competition kicked off at 7pm. Around fifty different events took place. The competition ended at 9:45pm.

- For 8-year-olds and under, all events (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and relay) were 25 meters long. For 9-10 year-olds, the butterfly was also 25 meters;
- All other events (freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and relay) in the 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15+ categories were 50 meters.
