Les Coteaux to pay $23,900 to extend Sauvé Street

At the regular meeting of the Les Coteaux municipal council, elected officials approved a resolution to award the contract for the extension of Sauvé Street. The contract was awarded to Shellex Groupe Conseil for the sum of $23,900, taxes not included. 

The Municipality wishes to pursue the second phase of the Sauvé Street extension project, aimed at completing the work begun during the first phase, which will be carried out in the fall of 2024. It should be noted that the expenditure in Borrowing By-law number 293, decreeing an expenditure and a loan of $6,223,048.95 for the repair and rehabilitation of the infrastructures of Sauvé, Delisle and Pauline streets. 

The work will include the connection of sanitary sewer and aqueduct services, as well as the finalization of paving on a recently completed section. 

Two consulting engineering firms have submitted bids, as revealed at the public meeting.
