Over the past few hours, Environment Canada, a weather forecasting agency, has issued a weather alert for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. The forecast calls for strong winds to reach the area late on Monday, January 27. 

Winds from the southwest will reach 80 kilometers per hour at times, starting Monday evening. 

It is recommended to store or tie up objects that could be damaged or turned into projectiles by the wind. Power outages are possible, warns Environment Canada.
