The Saint-Zotique refrigerated rink will be the scene of the continuation of its annual Winter Classic this weekend, with the senior category taking to the ice in just a few hours. Starting at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, January 24, ten teams will take to the ice to the delight of fans.

These teams, divided into three different categories, will compete in this curtain-raiser for the senior category. In all, some twenty teams are expected to compete over the weekend. The action kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and continues until 10 p.m. The first game will pit Ronsco against Cols bleus.

As with the Junior Winter Classic, residents are invited to come and watch the games and cheer on the competing teams.

To make sure you don't miss out on any of the action, visit the Ville de Saint-Zotique website for the schedule of games scheduled throughout the weekend.

A look back at the Junior Winter Classic

Last week, the junior category was in action on the ice at Parc des Quatre-Saisons.

Two teams from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region, Les Seigneurs de Soulanges in the M18 A category and the Titan de Vaudreuil in the M13 B category, took top honours on January 19.

Registration for the 10th edition

For those wishing to take part in the next edition, registration will open in September. Registration details can be found on the Fédération de Hockey sur Glace du Québec website.
