Is Your Child Starting School in September 2025?

From January 27 to February 14, 2025, all schools within the Centre de services scolaire des Trois-Lacs will be accepting registrations for the upcoming school year.

The registration process will be conducted by appointment only. Parents can select a time slot between January 20 and January 24 by visiting the website of the school serving their residential area.

Four-Year-Old Kindergarten

The four-year-old preschool program is available for children who turn four years old by September 30, 2025.

The following schools within the Centre de services scolaire des Trois-Lacs offer four-year-old kindergarten:

• École Cuillierrier (Saint-Clet)
• École des Canotiers (Les Cèdres)
• École des Orioles (Saint-Zotique)
• École du Val-des-Prés (Saint-Polycarpe)
• École de l’Épervière (Rigaud)
• École de l’Hymne-au-Printemps (Vaudreuil-Dorion)
• École des Légendes (Vaudreuil-Dorion)
• École Saint-Michel (Vaudreuil-Dorion)

Each class can accommodate a maximum of 17 students. If registrations exceed the school’s capacity during the registration period, a lottery will be held in February at a school council meeting involving all registered students within the school’s designated area.

If spots remain available after the registration period, students from outside the designated area of the Centre de services scolaire des Trois-Lacs may be admitted through another lottery process held at a school council meeting.

Documents Required for Registration

The following documents are mandatory for preschool, elementary, or secondary school registration:

For children born in Quebec:

Original long-form birth certificate (showing parents’ names) issued by the Direction de l’état civil. To obtain this document, call 1-877-644-4545 or visit www.etatcivil.gouv.qc.ca.

Two (2) proof-of-residence documents from a parent, as specified in the residency attestation form.

For children born elsewhere in Canada:

Original birth certificate showing parents’ names.

Two (2) proof-of-residence documents from a parent, as specified in the residency attestation form.

For children born outside Canada:

Original documents issued by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Immigration Québec for both the child and parents, or a Canadian citizenship certificate, if applicable.

Two (2) proof-of-residence documents from a parent, as specified in the residency attestation form.

Students currently attending a school within the Centre de services scolaire des Trois-Lacs will receive instructions for re-registration directly from their school.

Lester B. Pearson School Board

For parents interested in enrolling their child in an English-language school within the Lester B. Pearson School Board (LBPSB), registrations will take place from January 20 to January 31, 2025.

Similar to the Trois-Lacs process, appointments are required and can be scheduled by contacting the chosen school.

The LBPSB also offers four-year-old kindergarten classes at the following schools:

• Mount Pleasant (Hudson)
• Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau (Vaudreuil-Dorion)
• Edgewater (Pincourt)
• Evergreen (Saint-Lazare)
