A new city councillor elected in Coteau-du-Lac

This Sunday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the citizens of Coteau-du-Lac's District 2 were called to the polls. By going to the Wilson Community Centre (2, rue Georges-Jules-Beaudet), they had the mission of electing their next representative at the municipal council table from among the four candidates in the running. They gave their vote of confidence to François Décosse.

In addition to Décosse, three other candidates were also in the running: Marcel Bélanger, Alexis Buisson and Normand Lalonde.

A total of 785 electors were eligible to vote in this district. Of these, 334 exercised their civic duty. Of this number, only one ballot was rejected during the count.

The results were as follows:

- François Décosse: 143;

- Alexis Buisson: 98;

- Marcel Bélanger: 72;

- Normand Lalonde: 20.
