Coteau-du-Lac to invest over $1 million in the rehabilitation of three streets

Coteau-du-Lac's municipal council has given the go-ahead for the rehabilitation of rue des Abeilles, rue Bourbonnais and rue Poirier. A contract has been awarded to Ali Excavation of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, and work will begin shortly.
During the regular meeting on Thursday, October 10, it was mentioned that the project had been identified as a priority in the City of Coteau-du-Lac's Infrastructure Master Plan. A call for tenders was issued on September 18 to identify the contractor responsible for the project.
In all, six companies submitted bids to carry out the project. In the end, Ali Excavation won the tender, having submitted the lowest bid in the amount of $1,684,062.28, taxes included.
