Work begins to improve access to Pépinot-et-Capucine park
The Municipalité des Coteaux wishes to inform its residents that work to improve access to Parc Pépinot-et-Capucine is imminent. This major project will include the extension of Sauvé Street and the installation of a new ecological parking lot with honeycomb slabs.
The extension of the drinking water and wastewater networks will also be carried out as part of the project, which begins on Tuesday, October 1. It will last until Monday November 7, according to the schedule unveiled by the locality.
During the work, road users will have to cope with the closure of Sauvé Street, north of Delisle Street, and access to Pépinot-et-Capucine Park.
The aim of this work is to improve stormwater management and green the area, while reducing heat islands. The site will also be prepared for the future installation of amenities such as a pavilion and water fountain.
