A new exhibition for Groupe Passion Photo
From October 1 to 30, the Saint-Zotique library will be hosting the NUANCES exhibition by Vaudreuil-Soulanges-based Groupe Passion Photo (GPP), featuring some 15 local photographers.
The exhibition features black-and-white photographs of urban scenes, landscapes and flora, on a rather unusual medium: brushed aluminum. The luminous and unique rendering of this material lends itself particularly well to the photos on display.
Monochrome, a true photographic tradition with its different shades of grey, black and white, and its nuances of light, is a timeless illustration of photographic choices.
Despite its relatively short existence, around three years, GPP is already in its sixth exhibition. Groupe Passion Photo is a friendly organization whose aim is to build a space for creativity through photography. For this exhibition, GPP has benefited from the know-how and great generosity of a leading Quebec printer: CinéAffiches.
The Nuances exhibition will run from October 1 to 30 at the Saint-Zotique library, located at 30, avenue des Maîtres.
