The Municipality of Les Coteaux recently adopted a new by-law to reduce speeding in several residential areas. Since June 18, many local streets have been reduced to a 30 km/h speed limit. Why is this? To ensure everyone's safety, especially that of the children, pedestrians and cyclists who share our streets every day.

Why is it important to slow down? To protect your neighbors, take care of your community and enjoy the charm of Les Coteaux. The new speed limits apply to all residential streets, such as rue Adrien-Rouleau, rue des Bouleaux, rue Martin and many others. Main roads, such as Route 338 and Montée du Comté, are still subject to a 50 km/h speed limit.

Citizens are invited to keep their feet on the ground and respect the new regulations.
