Since this monday morning
Pont-de-l'Île-aux-Tourtes: a new configuration in place
The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable is reminding road users that a new configuration has been in place since Monday morning on the approach to the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge. Please remain attentive, as the new configuration will require adaptation over the first few days.
A total of three lanes remain available on the bridge, two of them in the direction of rush-hour traffic, thanks to dynamic traffic management.
Westbound:
- Access to chemin de Senneville is maintained;
- The A-40 westbound entrance via boulevard des Anciens-Combattants is open;
- The A-40 westbound entrance at rue des Pins is closed for approximately one year.
Eastbound:
- Access to eastbound A-40 via the Chemin des Chenaux entrance is reserved for emergency services at all times;
- This same access to eastbound A-40 via the Chemin des Chenaux entrance is also reserved for public and school transport, but ONLY from Monday to Friday, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m;
This new configuration will allow reconstruction of the Highway 40 slabs and continuation of work on the drainage system for the new bridge.
