Zumbathon
Dancing for the Breast Cancer Foundation
Getting moving while having fun for a good cause is a good argument for taking action. That's exactly what Jiana Saad is proposing for her fourth Zumbathon in aid of the Breast Cancer Foundation. The event will be held at the Chêne-Bleu school on Saturday, September 21, starting at 6pm.
“I'm proud to be organizing the 4th edition of the ZUMBATHON in support of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, even though I personally haven't been touched by the disease, nor has anyone in my family. However, I have met some extraordinary friends and women who have lost their breasts to this cancer. For me, breasts symbolize an essential part of feminine beauty and identity. These courageous women deserve our support in preserving their dignity and hope,” emphasizes Jiana Saad.
In addition to moving for the cause, participants will have the privilege of discovering seven styles of Zumba, performed by the region's top instructors. In previous editions, over $3,000 was raised for the cause. A goal that the event's instigator intends to surpass.
“By coming to dance with us, you're not just taking part in an evening; you're contributing to a noble cause that helps preserve the beauty and strength of women affected by this disease. Together, we can make a difference and show our solidarity with all those fighting breast cancer,” adds the organizer.
Tickets are on sale via the Eventbrite platform, but it will also be possible to register directly on site.
