Presented at Parc Chartier-De Lotbinière, the long-awaited 26th edition of the Festival des couleurs de Rigaud, to be held from October 12 to 14, 2024, promises a celebration rich in nature, arts and culture!

Thanks to the collaboration and contributions of numerous partners, including the Ville de Rigaud, the Government of Canada, and the Conseil des arts et de la culture de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CACVS), the Festival des couleurs de Rigaud is a must-attend event for families and fans of festive outdoor experiences during the fall season.

An enriched cultural program from Vaudreuil-Soulanges

Saturday, October 12

The band Rockology will open the festival with a show featuring revisited medleys by various world-renowned artists. Their rock, prog and funk performance promises to get festival-goers moving, to everyone's delight! Arkansas takes over with a moving tribute to Chris Stapleton. Made up of five professional musicians, this group will transport you into the intimate world of the country artist with an authentic and captivating show.

Sunday, October 13

Presented by the Conseil des arts et de la culture de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Clin d'œil will showcase local artistic talent in a new concept. Under the artistic direction of author, composer and performer Sylvain Poirier, discover culture in all its forms through performances by Laur Fugère, Elsie Morin, Pete Fortier, Light & Bubbly, Virginie Cummins and others. Two key figures in the festivities, Francis Désilets and Adélia la fée d'automne, will act as hosts. Jean-Marc Lavigne is responsible for writing the narrative. In the background, artistic works will be illuminated. This variety show with a regional flavor is a celebration of the cultural richness of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region, paying tribute to such iconic figures as Félix Leclerc, Brad Cormier and Diane Dufresne.

Monday, October 14th

End the festival in style with Rock this Country, whose success continues to grow, with over 4 million streams in 14 countries and nominations for English Album of the Year in 2022 and Group of the Year in 2023. Their popularity is reinforced by two consecutive People's Choice Award nominations, testifying to their deep connection with their fans.

New this year: an immersion in nature, arts and culture

An exhibition celebrating the colors of Vaudreuil-Soulanges will also be presented on the festivities site. This exhibition, presented in two sections entitled Cultural Contamination and Intercultural Contamination, transcends disciplinary and cultural boundaries, creating a space where different forms of artistic and cultural expression converge. In addition, this year's festival will host an exceptional art installation, Los Trompos. Created by Esrawe + Cadena, produced by Creos and presented by the Conseil des arts et de la culture de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, this colorful installation inspired by traditional Mexican toys invites visitors to interact and celebrate craft traditions in new and creative ways. Once again this year, the Youth Zone, the Flavour Market, the Artisans' Area and the food court featuring “foodtrucks” will delight both the eye and the palate. As for the terrace bar, located close to the main stage, it promises a festive atmosphere.

A message of unity and celebration

Christiane Lévesque, General Manager of the Corporation du Festival des couleurs de Rigaud, expresses her enthusiasm for this special edition: “With this 26th edition, we want to showcase current local talent as well as those who have left their mark on regional cultural life and reached beyond our borders.”
