Héma-Québec will be holding two blood donor clinics in the region in early September.

Here are the dates and locations of the scheduled clinics:

Tuesday, September 3: 

Pincourt: Mazda 2-20 (2101 boul. du Traversier, J7V 0K9) from 1:30pm to 7:30pm. Target: 70 donors. 

Wednesday, September 4: 

Saint-Lazare: Community Centre (1301 rue du Bois, J7T 3E6) from 1pm to 8pm. Goal: 115 donors. 

We recommend that you make an appointment to donate blood. However, if you happen to be passing by a blood drive and are available to donate, don't hesitate to check with the team on site to see if they can accommodate you.

Before giving blood

In the hours leading up to your blood donation, we recommend that you drink a minimum of 500 ml of water or juice and eat well, avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate blood collection, wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up above the elbow.

You should also carry your donor card or proof of identity.
