On Tuesday August 27 at 7 p.m., the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion will have the honor of presenting the free Elton Songs show at Le 405 park. The tribute to Elton John was originally scheduled for August 9, but had to be postponed due to torrential rain.

The band members, dressed in Elton John's iconic 1970s and 1980s costumes, will revisit the British singer's greatest hits.

Elton Songs promises an unforgettable evening, with performances in which the singer's vocal imitation is so authentic you'd think he was there! This show has been presented in major venues such as Capitole de Québec, Casino de Montréal and Club Square Dix30.

Parc Le 405 will be open from 5 p.m. with bar service and Pickerell's, a street truck serving ice cream. Citizens will also be able to borrow outdoor and lawn games, on presentation of their citizen card.

Another activity that had to be rescheduled due to rain is the final evening of improv by Intrépide Cabaret d'Improvisateurs. Their all-star match will be held on Wednesday, August 28, at 7 p.m.

Open until September 29

From August 26 to September 29, the equipment rental kiosk will be open Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:00 to 18:30. The Grande Tablée is still open for weekend gatherings of family and friends. Simply reserve a time slot on the Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion website at ville.vaudreuil-dorion.qc.ca.
