Until September 28
Meet artist Ginette Malouin in August and September at Maison Valois
Ginette Malouin has taken up residence in the Maison Valois to create four works, which will then be exhibited on various buildings in the town. People are invited to come in and meet the artist during her residency, which runs until September 28, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
It's one minute to midnight... for the artist.
Aware of climate change and its influence on our environment, it's impossible for Ginette Malouin to remain impassive in the face of this recurring phenomenon that's changing everything and endangering hundreds of species.
What will we leave to future generations?
With this in mind, she decided that her art project would focus on one of these endangered species, the monarch butterfly.
She wanted to make as many people as possible aware of the imminent danger of losing this magnificent pollinating insect, which comes to breed here after a long 4000 km journey from Mexico.
