Over the past few weeks, Coteau-du-Lac residents will certainly have noticed that major work is underway at the Pavillon Saint-Ignace, located on Rue du Parc. 

According to information obtained from the Centre de services scolaire des Trois-Lacs, the work is aimed at renovating the building envelope, including masonry, exterior siding and windows, as well as the integrated classroom furniture.

The budget for the project is $1,186,000. The invoice for this project will be paid by the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec.

Will the work be completed by the start of the school year? The work will still be underway when the hundred or so students return to school. However, it will not prevent them from returning to school. The work will be completed in autumn 2024.
