Dogs now allowed in part of Le 405 park
Dog owners and regular visitors to Vaudreuil-Dorion's Le 405 park will be pleased to learn that dogs are now allowed in one section of the park. This is a pilot project for the current summer season.
At a special meeting held on July 9, the municipal council adopted a resolution to this effect.
The regulations, in force since July 10, stipulate that leashed dogs are permitted in the southern part of the park, with the exception of the area where the guinguette is located. Almost half of the park is now open to dogs.
As in all public areas where dogs are allowed, it is important to remember that it is the responsibility of the dog's owner to respect existing regulations, i.e. to keep the animal on a leash no longer than two metres long, and of course to dispose of faeces in a hygienic manner.
