Héma-Québec will soon be holding blood donor clinics in the region.

Here are the dates and locations of scheduled clinics:

Monday, July 29
Vaudreuil-Dorion: Opti-Centre St-Jean-Baptiste, 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Target: 175 donors.

Monday, July 29
Hudson: Whitlock Golf Club, 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Target: 60 donors.

Monday, August 12
Saint-Clet: Community Center, 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Target: 60 donors.

Thursday, August 15
Saint-Martin: Salle municipale, 2 pm to 8 pm. Target: 60 donors.

Monday, August 12
L'Île-Perrot Honda Île-Perrot, 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Target: 60 donors.

We recommend that you make an appointment to donate blood. However, if you are passing by a blood drive and are available to donate, don't hesitate to check with the team on site to see if they can accommodate you.

Before giving blood
In the hours leading up to your blood donation, we recommend that you drink a minimum of 500 ml of water or juice and eat well, avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate blood collection, wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up above the elbow.

You should also carry your donor card or proof of identity.
