On this Thursday, July 4, we learn that the doctor is filing an $18 million lawsuit against the Ontario Hospital Centre for damages suffered.

One of the four victims in the case was Claire Brière, 80, from Rigaud.

According to publicly disclosed information, Mr. Nadler is seeking $15 million in general and special damages. The claim alleges that he suffered defamation and abuse of process, as well as conspiracy, breach of contract, wrongful dismissal, breach of duty of good faith in performance of contract, inducement to breach of contract, tortious interference and negligence.

The doctor is also seeking damages of $1 million and punitive damages of $2 million. These amounts are set out in court documents filed in Ontario Superior Court in March 2023.

His sister Erica Nadler and his mother Susan Epstein are also part of the lawsuit, and they hope to obtain $1M each.
