Young Perrotdamois Coralie Demers put in a fine performance at the Canadian Gymnastics Championships held in Gatineau from June 5 to 9.

In her first competition in the Junior High Performance category, the gymnast took third place on the podium for her performance on the uneven bars. She also won ribbons for 6th, 7th and 8th place overall on apparatus, beam and floor.

Last April, Coralie Demers helped the Canadian junior team to third place at the prestigious City of Jesolo Trophy competition in Jesolo, a suburb of Venice.

To round off her season on a high note, the gymnast was awarded the title of Outstanding Junior High School Student-Athlete for the second year running at The Gymnix Club's annual Galas Méritas.
