CISSSMO unveils plans and initiatives to 2033
The CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO) is presenting its 2023-2033 Clinical Organizational Plan, designed to provide an overview of the various projects and initiatives in terms of care and services that will be prioritized in the coming years to better meet the growing needs of the population.
Work on the Clinical Organizational Plan began over two years ago. The main objective was to identify tangible avenues for service development to meet the evolving needs of the population, by adopting a ten-year plan from 2023 to 2033.
Since the beginning of this process, over 1,300 people have taken part in the citizen consultation, and nearly 700 employees and around 85 physicians have contributed to the internal consultations. With the 300 individuals who took part in the workshops, we can confirm that this is an unprecedented process that has brought together all the key players around a common objective: the well-being of our population.
Axes and pillars to guide our actions
Five axes and six pillars emerged from this process, enabling projects to be aligned with the current service offering to better meet the needs of the population, and to put the changes into practice. Ecosystem committees bringing together players from the local authorities of each regional county municipality (MRC) were also set up in parallel with this process, to ensure that the region's partners and community organizations were naturally involved in implementing initiatives to meet real needs on the ground.
"The CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest is proud to be proactive in implementing numerous structuring projects to meet the challenges of the coming years. The Clinical Organizational Plan will enable us to continue this momentum by adding a number of innovations to help maintain the delivery of quality care and services to the population. We are aware that our organization will face many complex challenges in the coming years, and to overcome them, we will need to be visionary and bold, while creating synergy within our organization and with our community partners," says Philippe Gribeauval, President and CEO of CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest.
CISSSMO's mission remains the same: to maintain, improve and restore the health and well-being of the population by providing access to a range of integrated, quality health and social services, thereby contributing to the province's social and economic development.
