Hydro-Québec's project to build a new 120-kilowatt substation and feeder line in Coteau-du-Lac's Alta industrial park took another step forward on Tuesday, June 11. Elected officials ratified the sale of part of lot 6 462 633 to the Société d'État to bring the project to fruition, for the sum of $6.5 million.

"The land is located right next to the wastewater treatment plant. We're very pleased with this outcome. The project will take shape on land that belongs to us, and will help secure the electrical capacity of our industrial park and our entire territory. There will certainly be an official ground-breaking when the project is more advanced," said Mayor Andrée Brosseau at the public meeting.
