Exo - Réseau de transport métropolitain advises the public that during the week of June 10, 2024, a pesticide spraying operation will be carried out to control vegetation on a 7.42 km section of track on the Montreal and Ottawa subdivision, from 100 m east of Rue des Loisirs to 3.3 km west of Montée Cadieux.

This operation is necessary for safety reasons, and will be limited exclusively to the ballast section of the track. If necessary, this operation could be repeated in the summer of 2024.

The pesticides used are approved by the federal government and comply with provincial environmental protection regulations.

The operation scheduled for this date may be rescheduled depending on weather conditions or track availability.
