From June 25 to 28
Temporary closure of Hudson train station
In order to ensure the reliability and fluidity of rail traffic on line 11-Vaudreuil/Hudson, service to Hudson station will be interrupted from June 25 to 28 inclusively in order to repair eight railway culverts.
According to exo, the culverts concerned are showing signs of advanced deterioration, necessitating this work. The work is being carried out to maintain the reliability and fluidity of rail traffic.
A shuttle bus service will be in place from June 25 to 28 inclusive. The route will be the same as that used by line 21. Morning shuttle departures will be 17 minutes earlier than current train departures. Shuttle schedules have been planned with traffic congestion in mind, and buffer periods have been built in to compensate for any delays.
There will be three morning departures from Hudson station, and three afternoon departures from Vaudreuil station to Hudson station. These shuttles will be free of charge, but users will need valid tickets to board the train.
Work on the Boulevard de la Gare level crossing in Vaudreuil-Dorion is also scheduled for July. This work will have no impact on train service, but will force the complete closure of a section of boulevard de la Gare. Dates to be announced shortly.
The shuttle schedule is available at exo.quebec.
