Rue Lippé: work scheduled for 2025

In the May issue of its municipal magazine, the Municipalité des Coteaux provided an update on the situation on rue Lippé. In particular, it reveals the next steps to be taken, including the completion of the work in 2025. 

The final reports of the geotechnical and hydraulic studies are available in the municipal bulletin. Alternative solutions are presented in these reports and must still be analyzed by the various ministries involved, who will be able to make their recommendations as to the strategy to be adopted.

An information session will then be organized to present the chosen plan in detail. The next steps include environmental characterization, funding applications, a call for tenders for engineering services, negotiations with CN, preparation and approval of plans and specifications, followed by construction in 2025.

In addition, a provisional control by-law has been adopted to ensure the safety of residents.
