On Sunday, June 2, 2024, join the community of people affected by Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and walk for the 10th edition of the Gutsy Walk in Montérégie, presented by Triple Boris. The event will raise awareness and funds to help Crohn's and Colitis Canada keep its promise: to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life of all those affected by these diseases. The fundraising event will take place at Maison Valois,

Schedule for the day:

9 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.: Yoga session in collaboration with Illume Festival & Muv
10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.: On-site registration and sponsor booth opening + Nutrition workshop by Marie-Claude Guérin, naturothérapeute and nutrition coach
10:45 a.m.: Warm-up and opening remarks
11 a.m.: Opening of the walk
12 p.m.: Gathering, lunch and magician's show to amaze young and old alike

What your support means

Your fundraising efforts will enable Crohn's and Colitis Canada to directly support:

- Research: Breakthroughs are only possible thanks to your contributions - as was the case with the recent findings of the GEM Project!

- Programs: Whether it's the Crohn's and Colitis Connect program, the peer support program, or the provision of expert-approved educational resources through the Gutsy Learning Series, the Gutsy Walk is the key to bringing these programs to life.

- Advocacy: Whether it's calling for increased bathroom access with the AllezIciMD app, or simply shedding light on these invisible diseases, the Gutsy Walk is a day for everyone to talk about the realities of living with Crohn's disease or colitis.

How to get involved

Raise funds: Tell your friends and family why you're walking and encourage them to support your cause, whether by walking alongside you or as part of a team, or by making a donation to your fundraising campaign.

Walk: Be there on Sunday, June 2, for the Gutsy Walk, presented by Triple Boris! Raise awareness on the day by proudly wearing your t-shirt (tip: raise $150 for this year's exclusive t-shirt, and share your photos and videos on social networks).

Invite your family and friends to walk together to end Crohn's disease and colitis. Maison Valois is located at 331, avenue Saint-Charles in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

More than 322,000 Canadians live with some form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This is already an impressive number, and is expected to rise to 470,000 by 2035.
