Héma-Québec will be visiting the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region twice in early June to hold blood drives. Those interested in taking part can already make an appointment to donate. 

Here are the upcoming clinics: 

Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac: 

Date: Tuesday, June 4, 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m; 

Location: Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac Community Center (128 rue des Rigolets, J7V 8P3) 

Donation goal: 50;

Rigaud: 

Date: Thursday, June 6, 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm. 

Location: Édifice Paul-Brasseur ( 10 rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste Est, J0P 1P0) 

Donation goal: 60. 

We recommend that you make an appointment to donate blood. However, if you are passing by a blood drive and are available to donate, don't hesitate to check with the team on site to see if they can accommodate you.

Before giving blood

In the hours leading up to your blood donation, we recommend that you drink a minimum of 500 ml of water or juice and eat well, avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate blood collection, wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up above the elbow.

You should also carry your donor card or proof of identity.
