Four female field hockey players in the spotlight at the belairdirect U15 Women's Cup
Field hockey Québec recently announced the four teams that will take part in the 2024 edition of the belairdirect Cup. Women's U15. The event will take place from May 10 to 13 at Complexe sportif Isatis in Chambly, and four athletes from Vaudreuil-Soulanges will be taking part.
The four young women are all on the same team, and will be looking to help it come out on top at the end of the tournament. They are:
- Angélique Lauzon, who will be playing defense. She plays with the Soulanges Pionniers.
- Emma Kaidas, who plays forward for the Voltigeurs de Bourget.
- Madison Lévesque, who plays forward and is also with the Bourget Voltigeurs.
- Alice Bernard, who plays forward for the Voltigeurs de Bourget.
In the U15 division, three (3) teams come from the LHEQ women's division. Players from the LHEQ men's division are also eligible to participate. One (1) team is made up of players from the RSEQ.
“The belairdirect Cup is an excellent opportunity to evaluate our players in a different context than the regular season. We expect the level of competition to be higher than ever,” says Katerine Aubry-Hébert, coordinator of the women's excellence program.
