Héma-Québec will be visiting the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region twice in the coming week to hold blood drives. Those interested in taking part can already make an appointment to donate. 

Here are the upcoming clinics: 

L'Île-Perrot: 

Date: Thursday, May 2, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m; 

Location: Centre communautaire Paul-Émile-Lépine (150 Bd Perrot, L'Île-Perrot, QC J7V 3G1) 

Donation goal: 60;

Saint-Zotique:

Date: Friday, May 3 from 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m;

Location: Fire Station (05 Av. 69e, Saint-Zotique, QC J0P 1Z0)

Donation goal: 110. 

We recommend that you make an appointment to donate blood. However, if you happen to be passing by a blood drive and are available to donate, don't hesitate to check with the team on site to see if they can accommodate you.

Before giving blood

In the hours leading up to your blood donation, we recommend that you drink a minimum of 500 ml of water or juice and eat well, avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate blood collection, wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up above the elbow.

You should also carry your donor card or proof of identity.
