Creators and artists Olga Cassetta and Kristine Demers launched their second Vanadis exhibition on April 5 at Le Chenail cultural center, 2 John Street, Hawkesbury. Simon Bachand joined them for this second exhibition. At the opening the same evening, Le Chenail's 2024-2025 season was launched by general manager Lynda Clouette-Mackay.

As Olga Cassetta explained, "each Vanadis artist is exhibiting new canvases, including 5 works for each artist, one of them being on sale and clearly identified, with proceeds going to the Alzheimer Society".

Indeed, one of Vanadis's distinctive features is its social function. At each of its exhibitions, a portion of sales is donated to a health-related organization.

The press conference was held while the Vanadis collective, made up of Kristine Demers, Olga Cassetta and Simon Bachand, exhibited their works at the opening. Each of the artists has a relative who has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The collective's works will be on display until April 28.

Vanadis exhibited last May at the Bibliothèque Guy-Godin in Ville de L'Île-Perrot.
