Register now for the Rivière Beaudette descent

Registration is now open for the 7th annual Beaudette River Run! A large number of interested participants are expected on Saturday, April 20. The event is organized by the Conseil du bassin versant de la région de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (Cobaver-VS).

When: Saturday, April 20, 2024; the descent is postponed to April 21 in the event of bad weather.

Start: at the cul-de-sac on Butternut Lane, North Lancaster (Glen Nevis), ON, K0C 1Z0.

Finish: Centre des loisirs de Rivière-Beaudette, 600 rue Léger, Rivière-Beaudette.

Route: 20 km on the Beaudette River. Allow 4 to 6 hours' paddling.

Who: beginners with a minimum of experience and experts aged 16 and over from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region.

Cost: $15.00 per participant.

Boats accepted: Canoes, kayaks (10 feet long or more) and paddleboards subject to availability. For paddleboards, the river flow must be at least 3 m3/sec. to pass rapids without rubbing rocks, and you must judge your ability to paddle in a standing position for 4 to 6 hours.
