Murder in Vaudreuil-Dorion: Fabio Puglisi back in court
Fabio Puglisi, who committed the double murder in Vaudreuil-Dorion on February 15, was back in court on Monday.
Held since his arrest at the Institut national de psychiatrie légale Philippe-Pinel, Puglisi appeared rather calm before Judge St-Arnaud at the Salaberry-de-Valleyfield courthouse.
According to defense lawyer Me. Alexandre Dubé, the accused is still unable to stand trial. Fabio Puglisi must undergo further medical treatment for the next 30 days.
He will be back in court on April 23. The court will then decide whether or not he is fit to stand trial. If not, the case will be transferred to the Administrative Court. Until then, he remains detained at the Institut national de psychiatrie légale Philippe-Pinel.
